Our department of nuclear medicine is a rare multimodality image diagnosis and treatment center in China. It has the world's advanced molecular imaging equipment (GE Discovery NM/CT 670, GE Discovery PET/CT 710), radiopharmaceutical production equipment (GE cyclotron Cyclotron Qilin and drug synthesis system), magnetic resonance imaging equipment (GE 1.5 T MR), and the standard nuclide treatment ward. There are 13 staff members, including doctors, nurses, technicians and physicists. There are 1 senior titles, 2 Intermediate titles, 5 junior titles, 1 doctoral tutors, and 3 Ph. D. candidates. The Department can provide SPECT/CT, PET/CT, MRI and PET/CT-MRI "individualized one-stop" image solutions according to the specific conditions of the patients, and provide a new way for patients other than normal treatment by 131I therapy of differentiated thyroid cancer, 89Sr treatment of bone metastases, and 125I particle implantation for malignant tumors.
The PET/CT examination is mainly used for the early diagnosis, staging, staging, evaluation of the curative effect and the imaging of biological target area of radiotherapy for lung cancer, breast cancer, digestive tract tumor, lymphoma, melanoma and so on. The accuracy of the diagnosis is higher than that of other imaging examinations.
SPECT/CT can be used for various examinations such as whole body bone imaging, renal dynamic imaging, thyroid imaging, whole body iodine imaging, myocardial perfusion imaging and so on. It is an indispensable assistant diagnosis and treatment method. The accuracy of diagnosis can be improved by local CT tomography.
In the nuclide ward of our hospital, there are five independent wards, which include the treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer and iodine 131 of hyperthyroidism, strontium 89 to relieve pain in bone metastases, and 125 particle implantation for malignant tumor.
In our hospital, the nuclide ward has the standard protection conditions and is equipped with a comfortable medical environment. Each ward is a single room with a separate bathroom, 24 hours hot water, cable TV and wireless WiFi. At the same time, the video intercom system is provided to allow family members to visit them safely and to be more scientific. Management of patients, to ensure patient safety, the ward also installed a 24-hour medical and nursing video patrol system, family visiting screen, automatic monitoring system of radionuclides.
