The Department of nuclear medicine, Hainan Provincial People's Hospital, was founded in 1992. It is one of the earliest established nuclear medicine disciplines in the province. After more than twenty years of unremitting efforts to gradually develop into a more influential nuclear medicine discipline in the province, in 2013, we got the implementation unit of the national clinical key specialist construction project of the health planning committee. At present, we have PET/CT, 10MeV medical cyclotron, double probe SPECT, 131 iodide automatic sorting instrument and thyroid iodic function instrument, which are worth more than five thousand yuan. Specialist departments include specialist outpatient, PET/CT imaging professional group, SPECT imaging professional group and nuclide treatment professional group. Set up 33 standardized beds for compliance with environmental protection and radiation protection standards. More than 50 routine diagnostic and therapeutic projects have been carried out, and the undergraduate program of routine diagnosis and treatment of nuclear medicine is complete and numerous.
Basic setting: there are 30 staff in nuclear medicine department, including 2 chief physicians, 1 deputy chief physicians, and 4 masters or above. Specialized wards with professional facilities have 30 fixed beds, and more than 1700 patients have been treated in the year. Owns PET/CT (PHILPS) 1, dual probe SPECT (SIEMENS ECAM) 1.
Diagnosis and treatment technology level: the existing PET/CT, medical cyclotron, dual probe SPECT each 1, and imaging inspection to carry out more than 30 items. After years of clinical practice, a number of specialized diagnostic projects have been produced, such as tumor metabolism systemic tomography, myocardial metabolism imaging, whole body bone imaging, lymphosinography, renal function imaging, thyroid imaging, liver blood pool and digestive tract bleeding imaging, which form a certain influence in the hospital and outside the hospital.
In the treatment of nuclide, our department has been carrying out 131I treatment for over 20 years. After continuous practice and summary, a set of rigorous and standardized diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up procedure of hyperthyroidism have been established, which has formed one of the special treatment projects in Hainan Provincial People's Hospital. With the establishment of the nuclide treatment unit, 131I treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer remains and metastasis, 99Tc-MDP combined with 89SrCl2 in the treatment of bone pain of bone metastases, 99Tc-MDP treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthrosis, nuclear application of hemangioma, interventional therapy between 32P colloid tissue, radioactive particle implantation in the near distance treatment of evil Radioimmunotherapy for sexual tumors and tumors.
Main achievements: to undertake the teaching task of undergraduate students of clinical specialty of Hainan Medical University, adult education students and foreign students in nuclear medicine courses, and to undertake the training task of nuclear medical technicians in Hainan province. In the past 5 years, it has hosted 4 provincial scientific research, 2 scientific research at the departmental level, and 5 scientific research departments at the provincial level or above. It has won 2 awards for the four prize of science and technology progress in Hainan Province, and has published more than 80 papers in various domestic journals.
